God loves you!

 Are you struggling with your identity or esteem issues; Do you think you're not good enough ? Nothing good can come out of you? You don't deserve the best?? Well, if you've answered No, read ahead and have a re-think.

I know the feeling. Trust me! I doubted myself, thought negatively and sometimes I still do but reading the Word of God and a lot of motivational books really helped me and well I'm more of a happy being these days. 

Back in uni, the chaplain always made us say a little declaration and it goes like this "they say u won't graduate, they say u won't make it..."  (just a whole lotta negative things) and  he's like reply with "WHO SAID SO?" and even now when I remember it just makes me smile and gives some form of reassurance cos really who's report do I believe? GOD or mere mortals? 

And it was with this understanding and state of mind that I began to believe in myself again . Surely there would be times when we feel incapable, weak and helpless but The One who created you says otherwise. He says you can do all things through Him; not some, not a few,  not a little, but ALL things!!!! (Phil 4: 13) . It is also in this weaknesses that His power is made perfect; His grace is more than sufficient for you (2 Cor  12:9-10) 

God wants nothing but the very best for you. He wants a glorious end for you. (jer 29:11).Don't you know how precious you are? You've been placed higher than angels. You're wonderfully and fearfully made.  God loves you more than you can ever imagine. He sent his only son to die for you, aren't you special? You can't believe anyone telling you otherwise. You're more than a conqueror in Christ. Believe it! God has said it and that settles it. You're a masterpiece I.e. you are His greatest work of art. (Eph2:10)

Tell Him your problems. He is ever ready to listen. Cast all your cares on him and he shall sustain you. Has he said a thing and didn't do? Jesus loves you, always remember this. Think positively.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Whoopie!!!! Welcome everyone to a brand new year... The fact that you're alive today is the most awesome testimony. It doesnt matter how the previous year might have been or might have ended. The bare fact that you're still breathing is enough reason to be happy and should tell you that God cares about you. Alot of people passed last year and some even in the early hours of this morning but you're still here. Count yourself blessed.

So at the Watchnight service yesterday, The Vicar in his sermon titled "DOES IT MEAN ITS OVER?" said some things that really hit me and I just thought I should share. He said it was the same way we all started last year, happy , excited about the new year, things running smoothly and all of a sudden things fell apart and its like nothing good can happen again. And u just tell yourself okay theres still hope but the longer it takes you just wanna lose it. . . Whatever the case may be God will show up for you! At HIS OWN appointed time.

In my mind I was like yeah yeah but then He went through some scriptures and my faith kinda came alive again. LOL 2012 was Shit for me! The absolute worst, scrappppps but even with everything I'm thankful, some people had it and even have it worse than i do /did so who am i to complain?? So yeah the scriptures:

NUM 23:19 - "God is not a man that He should lie.... Has He said, and will He not do?"

ISA 30:19 - "... You shall weep no more... He (The Lord) will be very gracious to you at the sound of your cry; When he hears it, He will answer you"

That second scripture got my attention and even though i still kinda have doubts, just knowing God cares is enough for me.

So, friends I am totally excited about this new year and you should be too. Thank God for where you are and how far He's brought you. Thank Him for the promotion, celebration, favour and truckload of blessings He's gonna give you this year. Thank God that everything that represents a mountain has gone with 2012. Thank Him for all the miracles He's set to perform this year. Just always try to have an attitude of thanks. It really does wonders.

Also try as much as possible to encourage others. You never know how far it cud go. Encourage them with your time, words, resources. However. Just lend a helping hand this year and God will reward you (Job 42:10)  Forgive all those that might have hurt you  (self note to myself as well), Really. Theres no point in holding grudges or keeping malice. Just look at it from this angle: When you pray to God for forgiveness, you expect that He should wipe ur slate clean and He does, so who are you ??? LOL

Well thats all for now folks, my fingers hurt. Have a beautiful year ahead. Cant wait to share testimonies with you.
